JORDI SAMSÓ

Artist born in the Gràcia neighborhood of Barcelona, he dedicated to painting and engraving (considered the best in his engraving specialty with the burin). He studied at the School of Arts and Crafts of La Llotja in Barcelona and also at the Baixas Academy. He made his first exhibition in 1951, having exhibited since then a multitude of individual and collective exhibitions. After several stages, he consolidated in a style of abstract figuration, where through his fresh and vital stroke, he recreates the present moment with great irony, erotic always enjoying the execution of each work. Member of the group of artists 6 + 1, he died at the end of 2008 leaving a great legacy of works representative of all his experiences.
