MONTSERRAT SASTRE

Sculptor graduated by the School of Arts and Crafts of the Generalitat de Catalunya in 1968. In its beginnings it is dedicated to the pottery acquiring all its conicimientos in the factory of F.Ferrando. It is in 1971 when he made his first sculpture exhibition, exposing regularly until today and especially highlighting the presence of her work in public spaces such as hospitals, parks or squares as well as sports clubs such as F.C.Barcelona or others. His work is mainly an abstract ideas, with forms that evoke different interpretations. It uses different materials such as iron, wood from different parts of the world, ceramics or local and other origin marbles.
